“The whole country needs security” – Nasboi questions FG’s deployment of 1,000 forest guards in Oyo state

- Nasboi questioned the Federal Government’s decision to employ 1,000 forest guards for Oyo State, arguing that insecurity remains a country-wide problem affecting several states.
- The comedian called for wider security interventions throughout the country, saying that “the whole country needs security”.

Nigerian comedian and content creator Nasboi has reacted to the Federal Government’s decision to employ 1,000 forest guards in collaboration with the Oyo State Government, arguing that security challenges are not limited to one state.
His reaction came after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu announced the approval following a high-level Federal Government delegation visit to Esiele and Yawota communities in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.
According to the president:
“On my instructions, following the visit of a high level Federal Government delegation I sent to Esiele and Yawota communities in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State, I approved the employment of 1,000 forest rangers in collaboration with the Oyo State Government.”
Responding to the post, Nasboi questioned why such deployment was focused on Oyo State when insecurity is affecting several parts of the country.
He wrote:
“Dear President BOLA AHMED TINUBU 😭😭😭
If the government provided 1000 forest guards in Oyo community.
What about the horn? Zamfara? Osun? Kebbi? Niger Delta, NIGERIA?
At this moment, the whole country needs security.”
