Social commentator Geh Geh reacted to a viral video of a man crying for his relationship ended, arguing that a man should see a breakup as freedom, not as a loss.
Speaking in a video shared online, Geh Geh expressed surprise that a man in his 40s would be devastated by a relationship with a much younger woman.
Speaking about the woman as a 19-year-old, he wondered why the man was heartbroken despite allegedly being the one bearing much of the financial responsibility in the relationship.
According to Geh Geh, if the man’s story about the relationship is true, he should be relieved, not sad, describing the end of the relationship as an opportunity to move on.

“In Nigeria, I see a 40-year-old man crying because of a broken heart. Who broke your heart? A 19-year-old girl. Una disappointed me well. A 19-year-old girl. She is not educated, she does not get money. Her dad is miserable. So you bear the responsibility of this nation, this person leaves you, instead of making you rejoice in freedom, for leaving slavery, you cry…”
