Falz questions counter-protesters at an anti-insecurity demonstration in Lagos

Nigerian rapper and activist False expressed disbelief after allegedly encountering counter-protesters during a protest against uncertainty and mass kidnappings in Nigeria.
Speaking after the protest in Lagos, Falz said he was surprised to see individuals opposing or opposing the movement aimed at drawing attention to the worsening insecurity and continued captivity of abducted victims, including school children and teachers.
The rapper expressed his concern for their fate kidnapped in Oyo state and asserted that insecurity remains a national problem that could affect any family regardless of political affiliation.
He called on Nigerians to view the crisis as a collective challenge and not a partisan issue.
Falz also addressed reports of attacks and kidnappings in parts of the country, stressing the need for sustained public attention and action on security issues.
He warned that communities across Nigeria remain vulnerable if the situation is not effectively addressed.
The rapper said…
“We came out yesterday to protest against the deterioration of security and mass abductions across the country. What was strange to see was that Tinubu and his supporters hired a bunch of counter-protesters, most of whom were women. Those women have children. If you don’t know why we are protesting. The children who were taken from schools in Oyo State, have still not been found.
Let me put this into perspective for you. In Kwara State there is a community called Woro. From the 3rd to the 4th of February this year, this same year, until 5:30 p.m., the insurgents attacked this community, and now from 5:30 p.m. overnight until the next morning, there was a continuous attack where they m@$$chased the people. About 200 people are k!||£d. And do you know how many people were taken? About 176 people were taken away. These people are still uc@pt!vity.
Tomorrow it could be your children. It could end up being your kids, just in case you don’t know what you’re doing. This is £nd from us if we allow this to continue…”
