Lady sparked an online debate after she argued that men should compensate women for carrying and giving birth to his children.
In a video that garnered significant attention, the woman argued that pregnancy and childbirth involve significant physical, emotional and life sacrifices, and therefore women deserve some form of compensation from their partners.
She argued that many people consider this idea unusual simply because it is not practiced or discussed.
According to her, compensation does not necessarily have to be financial in every case, but she believes that men should find meaningful ways to recognize and reward the sacrifices associated with pregnancy and childbirth.
She said…
“Ladies, men should pay us to have their babies. Yes, I said it. I finally said it. I know it sounds crazy now because we’re not used to it, but I swear you’re worth it. How do you normalize having a baby and for the child to take the father’s name for free? If he can afford it, he should pay you. If they can’t afford it financially, they should pay you some other way, you can be creative about it. The key word is pay, he has to pay.
