A man shouts after being scammed with baked clay sold as granite stones

AND man raised the alarm after allegedly discovering that what was sold to him as granite was actually baked clay.

In a video shared online, he demonstrated the material, insisting that the substance did not correspond to real granite and looked deceptive.

He compared different samples trying to prove the difference in texture and quality.

Allegation of fake granite materials

The man firmly maintained that he was mistaken, saying the product washed off his hand easily and showed signs of clay, not stone.

Now you can see that this is hard clay. Look, look how they wash off my hand. Look how they wash off my hand.

See how much that is inside something. See, see this is not granite. This is clay. Now this is granite. This is now a normal granite in my hand. This is granite.

You can see how they do it. Now, look at this. This is not granite at all. This is not granite at all. Look and there are plenty of them. Look, look everywhere.

The white ones, white where you can see, so now confirm that they are not granite. Now confirm that the stones are dry. Check this thing out here. I don’t understand.”

Public concern about building materials

He further warned that many of the white materials being sold may not be genuine granite, suggesting they may be processed clay or low-quality substitutes.

The video has sparked concern online, with viewers questioning the quality control of construction materials sold in local markets.
