“No matter how good you are, I see myself cheating” — a man starts a discussion about fidelity in marriage



AND man sparked a debate online after he openly stated that he did not believe he could remain faithful to one woman for the duration of his marriage.
The man shared his views in a post that has since gained widespread attention on social media platforms, where debates about commitment, monogamy and marital expectations continue to generate strong opinions.
According to him, despite appreciating the value of a committed relationship, he accepted what he described as a personal inability to remain faithful to one partner for the rest of his life.
A man explains his position on relationships
Explaining his stance, the man said he intends to fulfill other responsibilities expected of a husband, including taking care of his family and wife.
He, however, claimed that loyalty is not something he has believes he can vouch for any relationship.
“It’s already a part of me that I’ve accepted and the best I can do is make sure I’m discreet about it, don’t rub it in her face, use condoms and be the best man I can be to her in every possible way. But see fidelity? I can’t promise that to any woman.”
The post is causing mixed reactions on the internet
The man further stated that he has never been faithful in any of his previous relationships and does not expect marriage to change that reality.
“I’ve never been faithful in any relationship, and I don’t see myself getting married.”
