After the publication of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination in 2026 (UTME) results, Joint Commission for Enrollment and Matriculation (JAMB) has started the process of helping candidates who want to change university or course.
The committee also stated that the printing of the original UTME results will start on May 18, 2026.
JAMB made the announcement in a statement signed by its Public Communications Adviser, Fabian Benjamin, and uploaded to its official X handle.
According to the Board, candidates who wish to change their institution or program of choice should do so at any of its certified Computer Based Testing (CBT) centers across the country.
It has been recommended that candidates complete the process only at designated locations to avoid mistakes or fraudulent activities.
The board stated that the exercise is currently open and available to candidates who may wish to reconsider their previous choices depending on their UTME performance or admission preferences.
He also announced that the production of the actual 2026 UTME result slips will commence on Monday, May 18, 2026.
The result sheet, which includes the candidate’s passport photos and security information, is required for entry screening and verification at higher education institutions.
“Candidates who wish to change their institution or program of choice can now do so by visiting any of the CBT centers approved by the Board,” it was stated in the press release.
