Nigerian gospel singer Kunle Kenny has sparked debate online after revealing his plans to undergo a vasectomy.
The singer made the announcement in a post shared on X, where he explained that he doesn’t want his wife to suffer the physical consequences often associated with hormonal birth control methods.

According to Kunle Kenny, decisions about having children should be shared and agreed between both partners.
He stated that he and his wife will only have children when they both decide the time is right.
I will take responsibility
The gospel singer explained that once he has the number of children they agree on, he plans to take responsibility for preventing the future pregnancy.
Sharing his thoughts, he wrote:
“No one is putting anything anti-birthing in my wife’s body. No foreign chemicals or pills. We will have children only when we BOTH agree unanimously, as God in His grace allows.”
He added:
“And when we’re done, I’m going to have a vasectomy. A woman’s body is hypersensitive to those chemicals. The side effects are crazy!”
