“There is no place of prayer abroad” — provokes reactions from Lady

Nigerian lady living abroad has sparked reactions on social media following claims that people living outside Nigeria have fewer prayer worries because many basic needs are already met.

In a viral video circulating on Xu, the lady claimed that the main prayer for many people abroad is simply to stay alive and enjoy life.

According to her, many of the daily struggles that drive people to constant prayers in Nigeria are largely absent in developed countries.

There is no prayer point abroad, the only prayer point here is ‘God, quicken me to enjoy’.”

She went on to say:People abroad do not have a prayer point. Would you like to pray again? God did it.”

The video has mixed reactions

The woman’s remarks quickly sparked a debate online, with many Nigerians sharing differing opinions on the relationship between religion, economic hardship and daily living conditions.
