notorious bandit a leader identified as Kachalla Maha claims to have the ability to kidnap high-ranking government officials, including state governors.
In a recorded audio message that surfaced online and was shared by verified user X, Maha also claimed to have access to classified security information, claiming to receive advance notice of military operations before they are carried out.
The authenticity of the audio and its claims have not been independently verified.
According to the message, the bandit leader accused the authorities of refusing to release some of his men arrested collaborators and confiscated livestock, alleging that the government’s actions contributed to the escalation of violence in the affected communities.
He further claimed that repeated attempts to secure the release of his associates have been ignored, adding that he has no intention of resigning.
“You arrested my men, and I demanded their release. You refused. I promised to kidnap many people, and I already have targets.
“I asked why my men and Aminu were arrested. Since they are not released, I don’t care if they send thousands of soldiers. I am not tired and I will not stop until I leave this world. I can kidnap the highest government officials, even the state governor.
“I swear to God Almighty that all security forces have been sent to attack my camp my boys. They inform me whenever they come. I receive information about security strategies, including those involving the President. This is only because I allow them to operate. Otherwise they would not even be able to use the roads,“, he said.
