Alessandro Del Piero, Juventus star, says Khvicha Kvaratskhelia would be the clear favorite to win Golden ball that there was no FIFA World Cup this year.

The former Italy captain praised Kvaratskhelia’s contribution this season, claiming that no other player has been as consistent as the Georgian in terms of goals, assists and overall performance.
“If it wasn’t for the World Cup, Kvaratskhelia would certainly have won the Ballon d’Or from the Champions League,” said Del Piero.
“No one was as determined as him in terms of goals, assists and performances on the field.”
Kvaratskhelia was named UEFA Champions League Player of the Season after scoring 10 goals and providing six assists for PSG.
