The regberegbe colors at Ojude Oba 2026 were a sight to behold

In Ojude Oba color is never random. One of the most memorable traditions of the festival are the regberegbe groups, factions of age groups who come dressed in coordinated outfits that immediately distinguish them from one another. And every year the colors become part of the spectacle itself.
From electric blue and bright orange to rich magenta, sunny yellow, forest green and royal blue tones, Ojude Oba’s 2026 edition turned Ijebu-Ode into a moving catwalk of color and culture. Each regberegbe group appeared in perfectly coordinated looks, with matching aso-oke, gele, fila hats and accessories creating visually stunning fashion moments across the festival grounds.
Beyond beauty, the colors also reflect identity, unity and pride within each group, making the style seem deeply intentional rather than simply modern. This is one of the many things that makes Ojude Oba different from any other cultural gathering in Nigeria.
