“I sold the ring…” — Lady recounts how the fiancé published photos before the wedding with another woman

AND woman caused a lot of backlash online after she revealed how the man who proposed to her unexpectedly shared pre-wedding photos with another woman just three months after she accepted his marriage proposal.

The report, recently shared on social media, detailed how the relationship ended without conflict after months of uncertainty over plans to formally introduce the family.

According to the woman, at first she accepted the proposal but was not sure if she would get married.

She explained that although the engagement was accompanied by a ring and commitment from her suitor, she repeatedly put off talking about involving her family because she wasn’t completely convinced about the relationship.

The proposal was accepted, but doubts remained

The woman described the period of hesitation that followed the proposal, noting that the man often asked when the formal introduction would take place.

“Someone proposed to me, ring and all. I said yes, but I wasn’t really sure and I didn’t know how to say no, so I held off on telling my family that they were officially getting to know each other,” she said.

She added that the repeated postponements continued for months as she struggled to make a final decision about the future of the relationship.

“He kept asking, and I was procrastinating“, she said.

An unexpected wedding announcement

The situation took an unexpected turn when she noticed pre-wedding photos on the man’s WhatsApp status, suggesting that he was about to marry someone else.

“Three months later, he uploaded the pre-wedding photos on his WhatsApp status. I didn’t argue or anything, I just sent him a card, and he replied with ‘thank you‘, she recalled.

The woman further revealed that she later sold the engagement ring and used the proceeds to fund a holiday with friends before moving on with her life.

The story drew comparisons to previous public discussions about engagement expectations, commitment timelines and communication in relationships.
