“Kwankwas plan will soon be exposed but it will be too late for Peter Obi” — Primate Ayodele

A new controversy has emerged over the political alliance between the presidential candidate of the Labor Party, Petar Obiand former governor of Kano State, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, following claims by INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church leader, Primate Elijah Ayodele, that the partnership could threaten Obi’s presidential ambitions.
In a statement released by his media associate, Osho Oluwatosin, Ayodele argued that Obi allows despair to influence his political decisions and warn that he was putting his trust in the wrong people, as reported by the Daily Post.
Ayodele questions the Obi-Kwankwaso alliance
The cleric claimed that Obi disobeyed what he described as divine guidance, insisting that the former governor of Anambra State had become vulnerable to political misjudgments.
According to Ayodele, Kwankwaso is not fully committed to promoting Obi’s political aspirations and is instead pursuing personal interests.
“Peter Obi does not listen to the divine instructions and that is why he fell into the wrong hands because of his ambition.
“Kwankwaso is not ready to fight for him; he will eventually sell him but he doesn’t know it yet. He has already confused Obi’s presidential ambitions,” he claimed.
‘Kwankwaso follows personal interests’
Ayodele further argued that Kwankwaso’s participation in the political arrangement was driven primarily by self-interest rather than genuine commitment to Obi’s success.
The cleric maintained that he harbors no ill feelings towards Obi, whom he described as brave, but maintained that the former governor is not yet ready for the highest office in the land.
“Kwankwaso is doing everything for his personal interest and nothing more. I wish Obi’s eyes could be opened to what is happening around him, but he doesn’t see it. I don’t hate Peter Obi, I love him and his courage, but he is not yet matured for the position he is looking for.
“However, Kwankwaso’s plans will soon be exposed but it will be too late for Peter Obi because he is deep into it,” he added.
