Man ends friendship after friend spent £145,000 on girlfriend but refused £50,000 loan application

AND man shared an experience that ended a friendship after a visit to seek financial aid took an unexpected turn.
According to the report, the incident happened two years ago when he was facing financial difficulties and approached a friend for a loan of ₦50,000.
The friend allegedly told him that he was broke and had no money to lend.
However, the events that followed later that day caused the visitor to doubt the explanation he was given.
Going out to a restaurant changes the perception
While the two men were talking, the friend’s girlfriend and her younger sister allegedly arrived at the house.
A friend then suggested that the group go out to lunch together.
Everyone ordered food in the restaurant, while the girl and her sister were also looking for takeout. By calculation, the total bill was around £100,000, which the friend paid without hesitation.
The situation continued after the date when the girl asked for money for her hair.
Loan application rejected again
The man said his friend immediately transferred ₦45,000 to his the girl after she asked for money.
On his return home, he reminded his friend of the ₦50,000 loan he originally requested.
Responding to the reminder, the friend said:
“How can you ask me for so much money after spending so much today? I already told you I don’t have one.”
The man said he left immediately after hearing the answer and never returned.
