Nigerian relationship expert and social media personality, Blessing Okoro, popularly known as CEO Blessing, has reacted after he was remanded in custody over ongoing legal matters involving the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
In a statement posted on social media, Blessing’s CEO addressed several allegations against her, including disputes over tenancy issues and a previous controversy involving a cancer patient.
According to her, after spending 26 days in EFCC custody, she pleaded not guilty to all charges. She revealed that she is now being held at the Kirikiri Correctional Center until her bail conditions are met.
Reflecting on the development, Blessing’s executive director described the experience as her second time in prison and expressed confidence that the situation would eventually work out in her favor.
“This is my second time at Kirikiri Correctional Centre. It will end with praise. Remember, if God wants to use you, he has to put you through the fire like Yakubu so that you can come out because this story is my biggest breakthrough,” she wrote.
The self-styled relationship expert also thanked the EFCC for what she described as “free publicity”, arguing that the experience will ultimately strengthen her personal brand.
“Watch how God is turning this into a great stepping stone. And thanks to EFCC for the free publicity,” she added.
The Blessing CEO further assured her followers that she will come back stronger after the legal process and thanked supporters who continued to stand by her during the controversy.
She also jokingly noted that her accounts were locked and urged fans not to be offended if she could not ask them for financial help.
