Nollywood actress Nkiru Umeh has finally reacted following allegations that she is being romantically linked to actor Frederick Leonard amid his ongoing divorce drama with actress Peggy Ovire.
Taking to her Instagram page, Nkiru shared a video of herself accompanied by a short but sharp message which many believe is aimed at the controversy currently surrounding her name.
“Uwa enwe nmeta (You cannot please the world). It’s good,” she wrote.
Her announcement comes days after social media users dug up an old birthday message she wrote to Frederick Leonard, in which she celebrated their longtime friendship.
In a retweeted post, Nkiru revealed that she and the actor have been friends for over a decade, describing their relationship as one built on respect, loyalty and genuine care. She also praised Leonardo for being consistent, grounded and steadfast.
The return message gained attention after Peggy Ovire publicly accused her estranged husband of having an affair with a married woman, sparking widespread speculation online.
Although many netizens have linked Nkira to the allegations, the actress has not directly addressed the claims or confirmed any romantic relationship with Frederick Leonard. Instead, her latest post appears to brush aside public criticism and speculation surrounding the issue.
