Martinique now has a new queen and her name is MaureenAlycia LucéaMerlin! The 24-year-old Afro-Martinican beauty secured the prestigious title of Miss Martinique 2026 during a spectacular coronation ceremony held at the Grand Carbet du Parc Culturel Aimé Césaire. At 1.76m tall, the Fort-de-France native moved through the competition with immense poise and grace, representing the island’s rich Afro-Caribbean heritage and vibrant cultural tapestry.

What really makes Maureen-Alycia stand out is her deep connection to her community. In addition to her experience as the first runner-up in the Miss Martinique 2020 pageant, her professional life is deeply rooted in social welfare. He works closely with the EHPAD sector (specialized French care homes), devoting his time to supporting and improving the lives of the elderly.

With this exciting win, Maureen-Alycia takes over the title from her predecessor, Léaline Patry. She is now officially preparing to bring Martinique’s rich heritage to the world stage at the Miss France 2027 pageant to be held in December this year.

The competitive final line-up was a confirmation of the exceptional standard of this year’s competitors. Nathanaëlle Hélène finished as first runner-up, with Loanne Nodine takes the second place of the runner-up. He completed the first five Laura Lavender as the third companion and Laureen Lixfé as the fourth companion, marking a successful and very memorable evening for the Caribbean mass celebration.
