Media personality Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze, has sparked controversy online following his reaction to the news that Nollywood actor Baba Ijesha fathered a baby boy with fashion designer and CEO of Luminea.
The couple announced the birth of their son on June 15, 2026, just about seven months after Baba Ijesha was released from prison in November 2025, a timing that sparked widespread debate on social media.
In a video posted on his Instagram page on June 16, Daddy Freeze drew attention to the short gap between the actor’s release and reports of the child’s conception.
He jokingly wondered how the pregnancy could have happened so quickly, sarcastically suggesting that the actor may have “Bluetoothed” it while he was still in prison, noting that conjugal visits are not allowed under Nigerian law.
He further added that the baby could have been born prematurely due to the timeline, mocking the idea that Baba Ijesha could possess “superpowers” capable of impregnating a woman from afar.
Baba Ijesha previously served about three years in prison after being convicted of sexually assaulting a minor. Its release in late 2025 has already sparked public debate on social media platforms.
The announcement of the birth of his child once again divided opinion online, with some users congratulating the couple while others had their doubts at the time.
