‘He had to dress his friend one last time’ – wife Yomi Casual shares heartbreaking tribute to Alexx Ekubo

In a touching message she shared on her Instagram story, she reflected on the relationship between the famous fashion designer and the actor, revealing that Alexx was one of Yoma’s closest friends and loyal clients.
Recalling their usual conversations, she wrote:
“A typical conversation between Yomi and Alex… Yomi: Ore (my friend), how far? Your clothes are ready. Alex: Ore, I come to the office and arrange my clothes. Lots of insults follow.”
According to her, just a few days before Alexx’s death, Yomi informed him that a newly tailored outfit was ready. However, unlike their usual exchanges, there was no response.
She revealed that Yomi later faced what she described as the most painful task of her career – dressing his late friend for the last time.
“Yomi goes to the funeral home to dress her friend in a well-tailored suit for his final journey. Omooo. Alex, how do you expect Yomi to heal from this loss? This is the hardest job he’s ever done.
“You kept saying, ‘Honey, Alex is mad at me if that suit doesn’t turn out well.’ You finally got the honor of seeing him dressed up like that in that suit one last time, even with so much pain and sadness in your eyes,” she added.
The emotional tribute touched many social media users, with fans sympathizing with Yomi Casual and praising the friendship he shared with Alexx Ekubo.
Concluding her tribute, wife Yomi Casual praised her husband for his strength and courage during a difficult period, praying that Alexx continues to rest in peace.
