“I don’t cook…” – Lady sparked a debate after listing the things she doesn’t do as a Generation Z wife

AND lady sparked a debate online after revealing some of the things she does as a Gen Z wife that many people find unusual.
In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), she explained that she doesn’t follow all the traditional expectations placed on wives. Instead, she and her husband share responsibilities in a way that works for both of them.
“I don’t wash my husband’s clothes. My husband washes his clothes and mine together,” she said.
The lady noted that she doesn’t try to fit into society’s idea of a “perfect woman.” According to her, marriage has not changed her personality or lifestyle.
She also revealed that she doesn’t cook every day. Instead of putting all household duties on one person, she believes couples should work together and support each other.
When they are tired, they should either eat out or find other alternatives.
“I don’t try to look married. I dress to be comfortable, lively and sexy. I just got married, I don’t lose my style. I don’t cook every day. If I’m tired, we rest or eat out,” she added.
Her statements caused mixed reactions on the Internet. While some people praised her modern approach to marriage, others argued that traditional marital roles should still be respected.
The debate reignited conversations about how Gen Z couples are redefining marital roles and expectations in today’s society.
