“I don’t see any good candidate” — Singer Skales rejected all presidential candidates in 2027.

Nigerian singer Scales has caused backlash online after expressing doubts about the candidates expected to compete in the 2027 presidential election.

His comment prompted another user, identified as Jayfreshworld, to suggest that the singer had not done so do enough research on the available options.

After Skales said he would not endorse any candidate, another user X disputed his position, insisting that there are qualified candidates on the list.

Reacting to the singer’s answer, the user wrote:

When you say none, it means you haven’t done your research, they’re good candidates on that list.”

Skales, however, stood by his position, answering:

To be honest, none! I don’t see any good candidate who can lead this country for the better”

The remarks have since sparked debates among Nigerians on social media, with users sharing different views on the 2027 election and debating the qualities the country’s next leader should possess.

The exchange also sparked conversations about voter expectations and public trust in political leadership ahead of the next presidential election.
