“I got my ₦10 million back” — woman recounts dramatic response to boyfriend’s plan to move to Canada

According to her statement, the couple had been together for four years and together they were preparing for his departure abroad.

She said she spent six months helping him process his documents, supporting him through prayers and helping him gather proof of funds by lending him ₦10 million from her business account and loan.

Dinner conversation takes an unexpected turn

The woman explained that the situation changed during a going out to dinner before his departure.

As she pondered their future plans, she said her boyfriend expressed concern about maintaining a long-distance relationship after moving overseas.

Before making his proposal, he praised her support throughout the relocation process.

Honey, you are the best woman a man could wish for. But I want us to be very honest with ourselves so that we don’t hurt each other.”

She said he later proposed an open relationship and allegedly stated that if she found someone who could help him secure permanent residency through marriage, she should consider it a practical decision.

An unexpected answer causes reactions

Instead of confronting him immediately, the woman said she calmly excused herself from the table.

She claimed that while she was away, she accessed his banking application using credentials she already knew and transferred ₦10 million back to her account, marking the transaction “A strategic survival fund.”

According to her statement, she then returned to the table, made an emergency phone call, left the restaurant and blocked him on all communication channels.
