Media personality D English Alhaji sounded the alarm over what he described as the deteriorating security situation in Nigeria, warning that citizens are no longer safe anywhere in the country.

In a video that went viral on Xu, formerly known as Twitter, he expressed concern over the increasing number of attacks, saying Nigerians are now facing danger at any time of the day.

“Nigerians, it’s getting worse. As it stands, no one is safe in this country. Not a minute is safe. No time is safe. No day is safe. Morning, afternoon, night they can attack you,” he said.

A media person claimed that suspected bandits attacked a drilling company in Magun, a community in Owode Local Government Area of ​​Ogun State on June 8, 2026 between 3pm and 4pm

According to him, the attackers broke into a plant owned by the Chinese, killed a soldier on duty and kidnapped some workers.

D English Alhaji said the attack happened in broad daylight, describing it as another sign of how emboldened the criminal groups have become.

“They’re not coming in to the west. Absolutely, they’re not coming in. We’ve been shouting about it, people have been saying it only happens in the north. Now it’s now in the west,” he said.

He further claimed that the assailants ran into army personnel while trying to escape, leading to an exchange of fire.

According to him, the confrontation resulted in casualties before the suspects fled the scene.

The incident has sparked reactions on social media, with many Nigerians expressing concern over the spread of insecurity in different regions of the country, particularly the South-West.
