Man Claims Declining Spending Among Yahoo Boys Says He Bought A Luxury TV At Big Discount

Nigerian man claims that many individuals are involved in Internet scams, commonly referred to as “Yahoo guys,” are facing financial difficulties.

In a video circulating on social media, the man stated that some individuals who used to live lavishly lifestyles and paying millions of naira annually in rent, they are now struggling to maintain their costs.

According to him, many allegedly sell personal belongings at deeply discounted prices.

As an example, he claimed to have recently bought a large television set from one such person for £700,000, despite the set being said to have been bought for more than £2.3m.

The man used the anecdote to illustrate what he described as the decline in fortunes of some people involved in fraudulent activities.

His words…

“95% of the Yahøo boys in Asaba, Delta state and several other states in Nigeria who pay about ₦3 million annual house rent can no longer extend their rent. All of them don’t sell their stuff as used. I just bought a big TV from one of them. A very big giant TV, he bought it for more than N2.3 million. How much am I buying from him? 700K. I bought it immediately, I called the dealer and sold him sm0k.
