“No one is safe anymore” – D English Alhaji raises alarm as bandits allegedly attack Ogun community, kill soldiers

Media personality D English Alhaji has raised the alarm over worsening insecurity in Nigeria, saying no part of the country is safe as attacks continue to spread.

In a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter), he asserted that citizens are now exposed to danger at any time of the day, stressing that insecurity has become unpredictable and increasingly violent.

“Nigerians, it’s getting worse. As it stands, no one is safe in this country. Not a minute is safe. No time is safe. No day is safe. Morning, afternoon, night they can attack you,” he said.

According to him, on June 8, 2026, between 3pm and 4pm, armed bandits attacked a drilling company in Magun, a community located in Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.

He claimed that the attackers stormed a Chinese-owned plant, killed a soldier on duty and kidnapped some workers during the operation.

D English Alhaji added that the incident happened in broad daylight, highlighting how bold the attackers have become in recent times.

“They’re not coming in to the west. Absolutely, they’re not coming in. We’ve been shouting about it, people have been saying it only happens in the north. Now it’s now in the west,” he said.

He further claimed that while trying to escape, the attackers allegedly encountered a team of army personnel, which led to an exchange of fire.

He added that the situation resulted in casualties before the attackers fled the scene.

Many reactions have continued online as Nigerians express concern over the spread of insecurity in different parts of the country, especially the South West.
