Peller hits back at critics, citing First Lady’s advice on doing business with Akara

Popular streamer and content creator Peller responded to criticism amid the ongoing “Olod uprising”, accusing some Nigerians of selectively channeling their anger.

In a video shared online, Peller mocked those who emphasize academic qualifications, suggesting that degree holders are encouraged to engage in small businesses such as selling kulikuli and roasted maize (agbado), while criticizing content creators.

He also recalled the backlash he received after previously saying they were applicants for £1million a month cameraman’s place educational certificates should be presented.

According to him, many criticized that request at the time.

Peller asked why, in his view, some of the same people are now silent on the advice to encourage Nigerians to engage in small businesses.

He further claimed that he spends between ₦10 and ₦15 million every month on donations to support others, arguing that his contributions should not be overlooked.

During his remarks, Peller referred to comments he had previously made Oluremi Tinubu cheers on Nigerians accept small food production as a way to increase household income.

Peller said…

“Certificate people they want to give you, Kuli Kuli and Agbado people are forcing Una to sell but una Dy is talking about the uprising in Olodo. That second time I tell them we make them bring a 1 million Naira recording job certificate they all start dragging me. See now Agbado and Kuli Kuli Una go use Una collection of certificates and Una don’t talk. You Una people are evil. See how they skip the morning. Every month when I check how many no I give in, I’m going to see 10 to 15 million E reach akara and Kuli Kuli Una no dey vex…”
