Print Speaks returns as BIAGELI brings back its global storytelling experience ahead of the SS26 collection launch

A brand of women’s clothing inspired by Afro-modernity BIAGELLI recently brought his global storytelling experience, Print Speaks, back to Dallas ahead of the launch of his upcoming Summer 2026 collection.

Held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, Print Speaks Dallas marked the return of BIAGELI’s live storytelling platform following its 2025 multi-city run across the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Nigeria. Created as the experiential storytelling arm of the BIAGELI brand, Print Speaks transformed the emotional themes behind the label’s collections into intimate conversations centered on femininity, reinvention, identity and personal evolution.

It was founded by a Nigerian-American designer and creative visionary Seashells Naijand, BIAGELI has built its identity around emotionally driven, print-driven fashion that fuses African heritage with modern femininity. Through themes such as Escape, Dream and Bloom, the brand explores the emotional journeys of women through different stages of life.

Speaking about the experience, Shells Naija, Founder and Creative Director of BIAGELI, explained that Print Speaks was designed to bring to life the BIAGELI universe beyond garments. She noted that the brand’s prints already tell stories emotionally, visually and spiritually, adding that the experience allows women to physically enter those stories, connect with them and see themselves in them.

The Dallas edition brought together between 75 and 100 culturally engaged and socially influential women for an afternoon that served as both a storytelling experience and a community gathering. The event featured a select line-up of speakers who embodied the core emotional pillars of the BIAGELI brand universe.

Opening the room as the Lapis Voice was highlighted Ifeoma Obiagwu, entrepreneur, psychiatric certified mental health nurse, leader and community builder. Within the narrative world of BIAGELI, “Lapis” represents the emotional anchor that women cling to during each season of transformation. Obiagwu’s session focused on faith, healing, resilience and purpose as the thread that connects her personal and professional journey.

Entrepreneur and mentor Rosemary Osondu she joined the experience as a featured Escape Witness, where she shared her story of rediscovery, hard turns, and the courage it took to walk away from situations that no longer aligned with her growth. Her talk reflected BIAGELI’s recurring theme of “Escape,” which explores the release that often precedes growth and becoming.

The line-up also included a strategist and a storyteller Jessica Chinyelu, who led an interactive session called “Whiteboard Your Life.” The session focused on helping participants translate emotional breakthroughs into actionable life strategies, guiding women through transition planning, growth engineering, and building practical pathways to future goals.

After the storytelling sessions, guests attended the exclusive BIAGELI Electric Indigo Pop-Up, where the brand’s signature printed pieces were showcased ahead of the upcoming release of the Summer 2026 collection.

Originally launched in Dallas in October 2025, BIAGELI has quickly emerged as a distinctive voice in contemporary fashion through its fusion of Afro-modern aesthetics, emotional storytelling and ethically crafted small-batch production. The brand’s debut collection, Electric Indigo, introduced the audience to a visual world inspired by movement, freedom and transformation, rooted in rich indigo tones inspired by Lapis Lazuli gemstones.

For Shells Naija, a comeback Print Speaks represented a continuation of BIAGELI’s larger mission of using fashion as an emotional language, not just clothing. She explained that at BIAGELI graphics are never just decorative, but represent memory, identity, healing, imagination and becoming. According to her, Print Speaks was created to allow women to experience these stories in real life, not just wear them.

Event registration for Print Speaks Dallas was $20 and could be fully redeemed for purchases at the BIAGELI pop-up or as online store credit.
