The funeral service was held at Mary Slessor School in Amanagwu Village, Arochukwu, followed by burial at his family compound located at 7 Ekubo-Okwaraeke Avenue, Aziukwukwa, Ujari Village, Arochukwu, Abia State

The teacher also asked for prayers for the actor’s wife at this difficult time.
Biography of Alexx Ekubo
Alexx Ekubo was a Nigerian actor, model and humanitarian born on April 10, 1986 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.
He hails from Arochukwu, Abia State and studied Law at the University of Calabar and later obtained a Diploma in Mass Communication from the Calabar Polytechnic.
Ekubo’s acting career began with a minor role in Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen’s Sinners in the House (2003).
He gained national attention after finishing as first runner-up in the Mr. Nigeria 2010, leading him to break into Nollywood. Some of his notable movies include Weekend Getaway, Lagos Cougars and Omo Ghetto.
