During the confrontation, the man insisted he would not leave the banking hall until his complaint was resolved. he said:

Do you want to take my phone? Ma’am, would you like to take my phone? If you want, call God. I am not leaving here today until you answer me and return my 5 million naira.”

Bank staff were seen trying to defuse the situation, while other customers continued their transactions cautiously.

The reason for the alleged delay was not immediately confirmed by officials at the time the report was submitted.
