“The worst prayer for your enemy is kidnapping” – the pastor recounts the ordeal after the kidnapping with his wife and sister

Based in Ed pastorCaleb Adavize Philip, narrated the painful experience he and his family went through after they were abducted by kidnappers.

The pastor disclosed that he was abducted together with his wife and sister and held captive for several days while the kidnappers demanded a ransom of N50 million for their release.

In a Facebook post shared on Thursday, June 11, 2026, Philip posted photos of himself, his wife and sister receiving medical treatment at a hospital shortly after recovering their freedom.

The pictures reflect the consequences of the harsh conditions they experienced during their captivity.

Recounting the experience, the pastor described the period as one of fear, emotional pain and physical suffering. “The worst prayer for the enemy”

Expressing the depth of the experience, Filip stated that kidnapping was something he would never wish on anyone.

“I can’t forget this in a hurry, how we were kidnapped, me, wife and sister for days and they demanded 50 million naira,” he wrote.

“The worst prayer you can pray for your enemies is that they be kidnapped, yes, that is the greatest.”

“Lord save our people. Thank you Jesus for our life.”
