Reality TV star and actress Bam Bam reportedly lost her phone during a song service held in honor of late Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo.
The memorial event, which was held on Wednesday, was organized by the family of the late actor, who reportedly died in May after a long illness.
Videos from the carol service showed family members, friends, colleagues and well-wishers gathering to pay their last respects, with many in attendance visibly emotional as they paid their respects to the late film star.
However, amid the festive atmosphere, reports surfaced that Bam Bam’s phone went missing during the event.
A popular video circulating online captured the reality star along with several other guests searching for the missing device.
On the video, one of the people present can be heard saying that the phone is trying to be called, but even though it rang, no one answered.
The incident quickly sparked reactions online, with many social media users expressing disbelief that a theft could allegedly take place during a commemorative gathering.
The caption accompanying the viral video read:
“That’s how someone will dress up from home just to come steal BamBam’s phone at an event like this. If you’re the one, return it with kindness, or the wrath of God be upon you. Since you love events like this, it’ll soon become your reality except you return that phone. Amen.”
The report has continued to generate online chatter, with many hoping the missing phone has been found.
