2027: Why I support Tinuba

Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adelekehe openly gave his support president Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking to journalists on the country’s political direction, Adeleke said his decision was influenced by the principle of regional balance, stressing that it is still the South’s turn to produce a Nigerian president.
The governor also praised Tinubu’s administration to release funds to state governmentsstating that the financial support has helped the governors implement development projects and improve infrastructure in their states.
He further argued that leaders should be given enough time to implement policies and reforms before being judged, stressing that significant change often requires patience and continuity.
“I support President Tinubu because he has roots in Osun state and because it is the turn of the south. Nigerians should give him time to implement his reforms.”
“He also made efforts to release funds to state governors to support development across the federation,” Adeleke stated.
As preparations for the 2027 elections gradually begin, Adeleke’s endorsement is expected to spark further debate on political alliances and the country’s future direction.
