Daddy Freeze throws a ₦100 million challenge at Cross after calling him out for bringing in priests
Media personality Papa Freeze replied the reality TV star Cross of Okonkwo with a public challenge amid the ongoing debate about miracles, faith healing and the role of religious leaders.
The exchange began after Cross defended his Christian beliefs and urged Freeze’s dad to refrain from criticizing religious figures.
“Daddy freeze with due respect, keep your mouth shut sometimes 🤫. If you don’t know anything about our father Jesus Christ. Don’t talk. And keep GOD’s people out of your mouth,” wrote Cross.

In response, Daddy Freeze challenged the advocates of divine healing to demonstrate the power they preach by healing at least one person from a group of individuals with severe physical disabilities.
According to Daddy Freeze, he is willing to invest ₦50 million and raise an additional ₦50 million, bringing the total to ₦100 million, if such healing can be confirmed.
He argued that if miraculous healing is possible, it should be demonstrated under observable conditions.
The television also addressed ongoing national challenges, including insecurity and citizen suffering, questioning why supernatural intervention is not more evident in such situations.
He contrasted contemporary claims of miracles with biblical accounts, citing the story of Lazarus in the Gospel of John.

“Cross, I hereby challenge you, I am investing 50 million and I will raise another 50 million from my people who earn 100 million if your so-called men of God can heal just one cripple out of the 50 cripples I will provide. You cannot tell me that out of those 50 you cannot find one who has faith. The children are in the bush, the men of God do not see where they are, let alone pray for them to come out. The young people are In John, 11. chapter, Christ raised Lazarus…”
