Peter talks about the accusations

Obi rejected the accusations and made it known that he was ready to examine the matter in court, where all parties could present their claims and evidence to the public.

He said…

“The issue of taking Kenneth Okonkwo to court would not have arisen if he stopped at those allegations. But he claimed that he has more to reveal about me in the future. So I am very happy to bring him to court so that he can publicly expose me, along with other Nigerians. If any of them have any allegations against me, they should take it to court. I think as leaders it is time we use ours to police the public so that people can hear all the bad things about us because it is important that our future leaders be who they represent themselves to be in terms of character, integrity, ability, qualifications and all.

So when he said that, I said wait a minute, we have to move on. So people can hear.”
