New reports have surfaced online revealing that she is the wife of the late Nollywood actor Alex Ekubo, Anwuli Amakom Ekubo, is reportedly expecting a child.
The allegation emerged during funeral activities held in the actor’s hometown in Arochukwu, Abia State.
A traditional ruler mentions pregnancy during prayer
According to reports, the actor’s mortal remains were taken through parts of his hometown before the funeral rites and stopped at the palace of the traditional ruler, Arochukwu.
During a prayer for the late actor, the monarch reportedly prayed for Alex’s family line to continue and mentioned receiving information that the actor’s wife pregnant.
He also offered prayers for the unborn child and expressed hope that the child would achieve greater achievements in the future.
A request that has yet to be confirmed
At the time of reporting, there was no official confirmation from the late actor’s family regarding the pregnancy claim.
However, comments made during the prayer session sparked discussions online, with many people expressing hope and praying for the family.
The wife attracted public attention during commemorative events
Alex Ekubo’s wife has been in the public eye recently after details about her were widely discussed during commemorative activities held in honor of the actor.
Reports identified her as Anwuli Amakom Ekubo, an executive in the Nigerian power sector.
During the song service held in memory of the actor, prayers were also offered for her well-being and strength as she mourns her husband.
