A Nigerian woman has shared her encounter with a tricycle driver who paid her 3,000 Naira a week to take her children to school.
In a post on her X handle, @ahmedhalima02, the woman revealed that she increased her weekly payment to 4,000 naira following the spike in fuel prices.

However, the tricycle driver never expressed gratitude for the increase in payout.
Meanwhile, the school is a 10-minute walk from her house, but her children miss school on Fridays for certain reasons.
Although the tricycle driver drives other passengers, she still paid him and even tipped him.
“Fast forward to this appointment, I instinctively increased his money to 4k a week due to the increase in fuel prices. This man never acknowledged it or showed appreciation,” She declared.

Meanwhile, she was preoccupied with her husband’s niece’s wedding and forgot the tricycle driver’s weekly salary.
Although the tricycle driver sent her a message about the situation, her daughter suggested suspending the payment, to which she agreed.
”My daughter saw this and said, no need to waste my money paying him, now I can go to school by myself. Feed people for 10 years and don’t fulfill just one day, they forget everything you did for 10 years“, she added.
