“I thought she inflated her children’s school fees until…” – Man shares shocking revelation about widow of late friend

Nigerian man shared an emotional story about how he discovered that his late friend’s widow wasn’t blowing up her children’s tuition like he thought.

In an account he shared online, he explained that he had been paying the children’s school fees since his friend died three years ago, describing it as one of the promises he made to him.

According to the man, someone called him recently and informed him that the widow was high tuition while he continued to pay the bills.

“Someone called to tell me that my late friend’s wife inflated her children’s school fees because I paid for the three years since my friend left. That was one of the promises I made,” he wrote.

Concerned by the claim, he decided to verify the information himself. He contacted the children’s school and asked for details of the actual school fees being paid.

To his surprise, the school informed him that he had paid less than ₦17,000 in school fees.

Shocked by the revelation, he arranged a meeting with the widow and asked why she had never informed him of the increase.

The woman reportedly explained to him that the fees had been increased, but she didn’t want to tell him because she didn’t want to burden him further considering everything he had already done for her family.

The man later revealed that the accusation came from his older sister’s widow. He said the widow burst into tears after seeing the messages and call logs.

He eventually paid the remaining amount and prayed for widows and mothers in need, while many online praised him for checking the claim before condemning it.
