Veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie he paid a heartfelt tribute to the late actor Alexx Ekubodescribing him as a man who left an indelible impression on everyone he met.
Reflecting on their relationship, Pete Edochie revealed that he only met Alexx three times, but each meeting was memorable.
He recalled one occasion when Alexx arrived at his hotel accompanied by Ogene the drummer and carrying a cow as part of an elaborate invitation to an event.
According to the veteran, he was informed that Alexx already has significant plans for his upcoming 80th birthday celebration.
News about departure of the younger actorhe said, it made thinking about those unrealized plans all the more painful.
Pete Edochie also took time to praise IK Ogbonna, describing him as a loyal friend who showed genuine friendship both during Alexx’s life and after his death.
In his tribute, Edochie summed up Alexx’s impact saying he “came, saw and left an indelible impression,” highlighting the positive mark the actor left on colleagues, friends and fans.

I was told that he had big plans to celebrate my 80th birthday next year, but unfortunately, he left. IK Ogbonna proved to be a true friend, both in life and in death.”
