AND lady sparked a debate on social media after she told how a friend reacted to the £15,000 she sent after being told the woman was hungry and stranded.

According to the lady, her friend complained that she had nowhere else to turn for help.

Although she did not have Nigerian currency available at the time, she decided to send ₦15,000 to ensure that the friend could at least buy food.

The situation reportedly took an unexpected turn when the recipient questioned the amount she received instead of expressing gratitude.

The answer left the lady disappointed and unsure if she should ask for her money back.

Sharing the experience, the lady said, “I just sent this money to a friend who complained of being hungry and stranded. She said there is nowhere to run, I said ok, I don’t have a naira right now, but let her keep this one so she can at least see how the food is chopped.”

She added, “She just replied saying hey at 15k I see send her… Make her send 15k back. When I figure it out, I’m going to send her enough money. Abi wetin una think.”
