Zubby Michael calls on the youth to reject political violence ahead of the 2027 elections
Nollywood actor Zubby Michael has called on Nigerian youths to resist being used as a tool for political violence ahead of 2027. general elections.
In a video circulating online, the actor criticized poor infrastructure, insecurity and governance challenges, questioning why young people should be mobilized to fight each other on behalf of politicians.
He argued that those who encourage violence are often unwilling to expose their own families to the same risks.
Zubby stressed that the real fight should not be between young Nigerians, but against social problems such as injustice, kidnapping, corruption, insecurity and bad governance.
He called on the youth to direct their energy towards demands for responsibility and positive changes instead of engaging in political conflicts.
His words…
“There is no light, no road. Yet they are mobilizing you, you are jumping up and down. You have no sense. Tell the person we are sending you to give him this gun.
It is not a war of youth against youth. Youth is against injustice. Youth against kidnapping. Youth against. Youth against theft. Youth against bad government. The mood is revolutionary, not killing each other.”
