A man kills a sugar mummy he met on Facebook with a pestle; sells cars and other valuables
A 31-year-old man is in Federal Capital Territory (FCT) custody for allegedly murdering his sugar mummy.
The 48-year-old lover of the young man identified as Ijeom Felix met the suspect in a Facebook group in 2020 and started dating.
According to reports, the suspect stole the victim’s car and other valuables. During interrogation, the suspect on Tuesday confessed to hitting the victim with a pestle during an allegedly violent argument at her two-room residence in Lugbe area of FCT on October 24.
The suspect told police that after they met on Facebook, the deceased asked him to move in with her, but as time went on, the relationship became toxic because he was the victim.
He further revealed that he had an argument with the deceased over a Toyota Highlander she had given him as a gift, which he had sold without her consent. But their argument turned into a fist fight in which the deceased met her death.
The suspect disclosed that after killing Ijeoma, he took the documents of his lover’s Camry car and sold it for N1.7 million.
