Socialite and fashion enthusiast Sophia Momodu is celebrating a new milestone as she turns 39 on Tuesday, June 9, 2026.
The first-time mom of Nigerian music star Davido marked her birthday by reflecting on her journey so far during an interview with Marie Claire magazine.
Looking back on her twenties, Sophia shared that aging has brought her a sense of calm and greater wisdom, noting how age has shaped her outlook on life.
“When I was in my 20s, I was a hothead. You couldn’t tell me anything. It was my way or the highway. The older I get, the wiser I feel. And it makes me calmer,” she said.
The fashion entrepreneur, who is a mother of one daughter, Imade Adeleke, also revealed that becoming a mother has taught her the importance of prioritizing herself and making decisions that put her well-being first.
“When I first had my daughter, I started to see myself in her eyes. I started to see how she sees me. She taught me to love myself even more because I’m like, this person actually thinks I’m the best person in the whole world and comes to me for everything,” she said.
