Political assistant Ossai Ovie Success criticized the social media activist Verydarkman after the activist’s return to Nigeria amid speculation he might be arrested.
In a statement shared online, Ossai Ovie Success claims to be Verydarkman’s fans were mobilized to the airport based on fear of a possible arrest which ultimately did not occur.
He argued that the activist may have expected an arrest and the publicity that might come with it, but instead met with a different outcome.
Ossai further stated that if the security agencies really intend to arrest the individual, the supporters gathered at the airport would not be able to prevent such an action.
He expressed disappointment with the whole episode and questioned the necessity of mobilization.
His words…
“Verydarkman mobilized people to come to the airport to protect him from arrest, but he got a shock: no one planned to arrest him.
He wanted to be arrested to trend and twist the story to make it look like he was being targeted for speaking out against Tinubu’s second term bid.
guess what He was disappointed.
But let it be known: if the authorities wanted to arrest VeryDarkMan, they would. None of the people he mobilized would stop it.
