An old video of late Nollywood actor Kola Oyewo talking about his health problems has resurfaced online following the news of his death at the age of 80, sparking new emotions from fans and colleagues.

The veteran actor, who was widely appreciated for his contribution to the Nigerian movie industry, was seen in the video detailing the difficult medical journey that began a few years ago and eventually changed his life.

In a re-released interview recorded in 2024 with director Kunle Afoda, Oyewo explained that his health problems started around July 2019 when he started experiencing difficulty urinating.

Worried about his condition, he reportedly visited a family doctor in Ilaramokin, Ondo State, where he was advised to undergo further medical examinations. The situation later led to more serious medical interventions.

According to the late actor in the video, doctors performed a series of treatments and procedures aimed at managing his condition, which was linked to an enlarged prostate.
