A Nigerian woman has recounted how she lost a ₦10,000 bet due to a court battle.
Identified as @ChisomAgbafor on X, the lady revealed the circumstances that led to the bet involving her friend who was looking for a job.
The lady loses the bet
According to the lady, the bet required her friend to inform five senior lawyers about the job search in order to win the bet.
However, it was rejected by five lawyers.
Unknown to him, an older colleague who witnessed the scene called after the court hearing and offered him a job.
”After court ended, he called the guy aside and said, “I like your courage. Can you continue on Monday? That’s
how i lost ₦10,000“, she added.
