AND man has shared the heartbreaking story of his childhood friend, who lost his ₦150 million inheritance years after carefully guarding the wealth left to him by his late father.

According to the narrator, his friend was only 22 years old when he inherited the money. After depositing the funds in the bank, a staff member advised him to manage his wealth wisely and avoid unnecessary spending.

The man explained that despite pressure from relatives and friends who believed they deserved a share of the inheritance, his friend remained disciplined.

He bought a fairly used car, got his driver’s license and first worked as a truck driver before later becoming a bus driver driver while allowing his savings to grow.

Recalling the incident, the man said: “A childhood friend of mine inherited £150 million when his father died. He was then 22 years old. When he put the money in the bank, the lady from the bank told him to be wise and not waste it.”

Continuing his story, he added, “His uncle advised him to marry a woman he said was better than the lady he was dating. He obeyed his uncle and married the lady recommended by his uncle. A few months after the wedding, his wife took all his money and fled to Europe. After a serious investigation, his uncle was arrested for helping her escape with the money. No one knows what happened to the woman after she left. It was a plan between his wife and his uncle.”
