In his own words he said:
“I get paid up to $1 million per show in Ghana. The respect I get there is the same respect they give Jay-Z and Beyoncé, so I’m not chasing international shows. If you offer me $300,000, I’ll tell you to keep the money and come back when you have a big budget.”
The singer further explained that he values respect and recognition more than just traveling to foreign shows. He added that he doesn’t like lower offers from international promoters because he prefers offers that match his perceived value.
