“I wonder if I will ever get married” – an Uber driver shares his experiences with female passengers
An Uber driver caused backlash online after recounting some of the experiences he allegedly had while transporting female passengers.
According to him, he has repeatedly noticed a pattern among certain ladies who allegedly tell their partners one thing, but end up doing something completely different.
In his speech he said:
“This isn’t the first time, the second time, not even the third time I’ll pick up a lady and you’ll think they’re going to hang out. It’s the same strategy, different ladies, but the same lie.”
The driver claimed that some women were talking to them the boys are at a birthday partyan office gathering or social event, only for him to later discover that they were headed elsewhere.
He further stated that some of them even prepare excuses in advance, telling their partners that they might not be available due to the noise of the event, which makes them less suspicious and discourages them from calling again.
“She’ll tell her boyfriend, ‘When I get there, it’s going to be noisy and we might not be able to talk until tomorrow.’ But when we reach the destination, and so on, people go to meet them. When we arrive, the man they came with will come out and pay the ticket.” he added.
The driver’s claims caused mixed reactions on the internet. While some people agreed with his observations, others argued that his experiences were not representative of all women.
He added that some of the things he has witnessed since becoming a driver have made him rethink relationships and marriage, noting that certain experiences still leave him shocked.
