Man claims Mr Ibu’s wife sold his Lekki house against his wishes, says new owner demolished it

Fresh allegations have emerged in the ongoing controversy surrounding the estate of late Nollywood actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu, following claims that one of his properties in Lekki was sold against his wishes.

A social media commentator, VeryDarkOracle, stated that Mr. Ibu had specifically ordered that his Lekki house should never be sold. According to him, the property was allegedly sold by the late actor’s wife despite these instructions.

He further claimed that after the sale, the new owner demolished the building. To back up his claims, he shared videos purportedly showing the property before and after the demolition.

The allegations come amid increasing public scrutiny over the management of Mr Ibu’s estate after his family members recently made conflicting claims about his assets and financial situation.

As at the time of publishing this report, Mr. Ibu’s wife has not publicly responded to the latest allegations regarding the sale of the Lekki property.
